Slabs are used in industrial and civil construction as:
a thermal and sound insulation layer not being under load: light-weight covering surfaces, partition walls, floors, crawl space slabs, attics and lofts, garret flooring;
a sound insulation layer in suspended ceilings.
Storage: Slabs must be stored into containers or stacked on the pallets separately by trade mark and size. Polyethylene heat-shrink film is used for packaging. The material must be protected from atmospheric precipitation during whole period of storage.
Transportation: Transportation and storage of the slabs must be in compliance with State All-Union standard 25880-83. The slabs are unloaded at storage at least a day before delivering to a customer.
